Measure the space where the mat will go. 16×24 in fits crates, bowl areas and small entryways. 18×28 in suits a standard front or back door. 20×32 in covers wider doors and mudrooms. 24×36 in is best for large entryways and big dogs. The bigger the mat, the more steps your dog takes on it, and the cleaner their paws get.

✓How do I wash it?

Shake off loose dirt outside, then machine wash on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Skip bleach and fabric softener, because softener coats the fibers and makes them less absorbent.

✓Will it slide around on my floor?

No. The rubber backing grips tile, wood, laminate and concrete, so the mat stays in place even when your dog comes running in from the yard.
